Emperor the stag are four loud song smiths from the quitest of seaside town's (Eastbourne) Memorable meoldies, alternative noise and upward strum serve them the right to stand alongside the likes of current art rockers The Maccabees and Bombay Bicycle Club. Or for someone else's jukebox- sessioning for NG's High flying birds ...
So far they have landed around Brighton and London, making well known of their existence. All the while carrying the baton for the broken hearted with brand new single SWAN. The key line 'I broke my neck for you swan'.
While SWAN will stick it's neck out in all good digital download stores, it will be accompanied by a full band version of The Green Sofa. As well as that Emperor have also recorded a version of one of their favourite Elbow tracks 'Switching Off' which will be available to stream on youtube very very shortly..!
